Well gents I finally found out what number my car is out of the 839 M6/T-Top CETA that were built
It's #729 of 839
I've known my CE number since Dec 2006 and just got word on the M6/T-top number.
The car came off the GM line on March 22, 2002 and went straight to ASC. The CE conversion was complete on Monday March 25, 2002 and then shipped back to GM on March 26, 2002.
The guy also told me some other info
The cars were shipped to ASC with the rear lower bumper already painted black
ASC installed the hood, lower air box, stripes and badges
The last cars were converted on April 23, 2002 and they done 9 that day

I am going to call the guy back tomorrow and talk with him. I'll see if he cares if I give out his number or if I send him an email with about 10 VINs (only the last 8 digits) about once a week. He is doing this on his spare time at work now, since business has picked back up he doesn't have a lot of it. I'll keep you posted on what will happen with this.

Z28/2002 posts a lot on ls1tech.com and he might be more able to get in touch with there. I know he has been getting owners their numbers from ASC.
